HTML 5

If you are a web developer, time to update your rules. Yes, rules. The transition from HTML 4 to XHTML was almost negligible, infact you couldn't see much difference until unless you used some JavaScript code or done some cross browser compatible programming. Today's transition is towards HTML 5, the next big thing in the web experience. Time to update your rules.

Below is a video demonstration of Microsoft's Internet Explorer 9 pointing out what HTML 5 can bring to us.

HTML 5 doesn't need flash. HTML 5 doesn't need Java. HTML 5 is a client side dynamic language by itself. With careful JavaScript and the very powerful new CSS 3, your websites are going to shine like never before. Coupled with beautiful browsers like Chrome or IE9, the experience can only be imagined. What more, the one time markup is going to show up exactly the same in every standards compliant browser. Isn't that very cool?

Welcome the new standard in websites, oh I must say, welcome the new "web"!
